Statement
Zoee is a painter whose work is deeply influenced by her upbringing in China and her later experiences in the United States. Her art marries the minimalist elegance of Eastern aesthetics with the bold, colorful expressions of Western styles. Drawing inspiration from childhood memories, she captures the essence of simplicity and playfulness that often gets lost in adulthood. Through her fantastical interpretation of childhood memories, Zoee aims to evoke a sense of nostalgia and joy, inviting viewers to reconnect with the beauty found in everyday moments.
In a world that often rushes past the mundane, her paintings serve as a gentle reminder of the magic inherent in simplicity. By celebrating the innocence and wonder of formative years, Zoee hopes to inspire a renewed appreciation for the subtle joys that surround us.
